Our History
Calvary Chapel Geneva Ministry started out of desperation of believers around Geneva who are hunger and thirsty for the undiluted word of God to be preached in the church; by constantly seeking and searching they were led to Calvary Chapel Movement consequently from the Philippines. Pastor Joseph Jo from the Calvary Chapel Dumaguete came to Switzerland with the Lord’s vision like Paul where the Macedonians were calling him to preach in their place. Upon obeying the Lord “Calvary Chapel Geneva” was born on May 2017 in the town of Geneva called Petit-Lancy where the believers and unbelievers alike came to know Jesus Christ in the light of preaching the whole bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book. People came seeking God, others has been wounded, bruised and abused spiritually, gradually by listening and studying the bible they started to get healed spiritually and start serving Jesus again.
Leadership and finances
We currently lack a definite structure since no permanent pastor has been appointed yet. However, there are groups of brothers selected for worship, kitchen duties, and financial accounting.
